An original and unusual research aspect shows the influence of two German poets, Rainer Maria Rilke and Stefan George, in the development of the resistance movement against Hitler’s tyranny among high-ranking officials of the German armed forces. The book concludes with two essays aspiring to show some essential contributions of two great German psychiatrists and philosophers, Karl Jaspers and Hubertus Tellenbach.
