Biography

Editor(s):  Dr Sinem Cengiz is the editor of *Qatar’s Vision 2030 in Focus*. She is a researcher at the Gulf Studies Center, Qatar University, specializing in the international relations and political economy of the Middle East. Her research focuses on the foreign policies of the Gulf monarchies, with a particular emphasis on Turkey-Gulf relations and regional competition and cooperation dynamics. Dr. Cengiz is the author of several books, including *Turkish-Saudi Relations: Cooperation and Competition in the Middle East* and *The Making of Contemporary Kuwait: Identity, Politics, and its Survival Strategy*.
